Hing, Quarter Horse

If you are looking for a true gentle giant, that’s well trained, extremely good natured and is super smooth traveling, you should come see Freddy! He stands16.2 hands, is 5 years old and is a black and white Tobiano draft cross gelding. Freddy rides more like a well-trained quarter horse than your typical draft cross. He has a great one hand neck rein and moves off your hand and leg cues with ease. He has a smooth, easy to sit jog, will lope out on cue always taking the correct lead and is equally smooth and comfortable at the lope. Stops and backs up well and will side pass with ease to work the gates. This is a confident and settled horse to ride out anywhere. When riding in an urban environment Freddy is rock solid about all fast-passing vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles. He could care less about the neighborhood dogs that frequently like to ambush us when they run up barking and jumping on their fences as we ride by. He is equally unimpressed with the various farm animals in the neighborhood as well as the random things people throw out on the curb. On the trail, Freddy is content in any position of a group ride and is equally content to be out on his own. Crosses the river, creeks, deadfall, and trail obstacles. He is surefooted and dependable in steep Rocky terrain and is just an absolute pleasure to ride and be around. He is also broke to drive. Freddy is a get along kind of guy out in the pasture and he gets along very well with Mares, geldings and our BLM Burro. This horse has the kindest disposition! He loves people and attention. He is courteous and respectful of his handlers. Stands tied quietly for grooming, tacking up, bathing and for the farrier. Stands quietly for mounting as well. Freddy is the complete package and there are few and far between like him. Everybody who meets him absolutely loves him! He has no bad habits or vices of any kind and is 100% safe, sane and sound.
