He has been used for all aspects of ranch work and has countless miles outside covering real country. Creeks, rocks, timber, hills, ditches, rough terrain or open country — point him where you want to go and he handles it with confidence. Dewey has also been started on the heel side and has all the ingredients to make an outstanding rope horse. He has a good stop, nice turnaround, and will walk, trot and lope pretty circles in the arena. He’ll pack a flag, cross bridges, walk over tarps and logs, and takes new things in stride.
