Cherokee is an 8 yr old 15.2 hand Appaloosa Gelding. He’s honest, willing, and easy to get along with. He stops and backs with ease, and is a smooth traveler in all his gaits. He’s easy to guide, uncomplicated, and the kind you can get on and enjoy every single time. Cherokee has been exposed to obstacles and handles them with confidence. He knows where his feet are on the trail, crosses water and bridges quietly, and is the kind you can safely mosey down the road on and just enjoy the ride. He’s been out checking cows and has proven to be useful and level-headed in a working environment. He goes where you point him and keeps the same steady mindset. Around the barn, he’s just as easy. Good for the farrier, stands quietly in the stall, hauls great, and is simple to tack up. No fuss, no nonsense—just a kind, straightforward gelding to be around.
