History of the breed. Cows grazing on the Angeln Peninsula, located in the northern part of Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, are distinguished by excellent health and adapt well to harsh weather conditions. The average weight of cows ranges from 500 to 580 kilograms, while bulls weigh between 850 and 1000 kilograms. Conditions of keeping.
