Red-spotted breed — beli atau jual
History of the breed. The Red-Pied breed is the result of crossing Simmental cows and red-pied Holstein bulls from the USA and Canada. In Russia, in the late 1990s, there was a need to create a unique competitive breed that would meet economic requirements; this unique breed became the Red-Pied breed. The Red-Pied breed combines all the best qualities of the Simmental breed, i.e., meat quality and productive longevity, and the high milk productivity of the Holstein breed. It should be noted that the Red-Pied breed meets modern economic requirements and is a dual-purpose breed. The Red-Pied breed consists of large individuals, with cows reaching a weight of 650 kg and bulls up to 1000 kg, with a height at the withers of 138 cm for cows and 145 cm for bulls. The Red-Pied breed has a calm and balanced temperament. High milk yields require balanced feed, vitamins, and minerals. The lactation of cows depends on their housing and feeding; the dairy direction remains the most profitable. Exterior. The Red-Pied breed has a typical dairy cow body structure. Individuals of the Red-Pied breed have a straight profile, a long head, and a wide pelvis. The color of this breed is red or brown with large white spots, and the coat is smooth and shiny. The Red-Pied breed consists of large animals with a strong bone structure, a wide chest, small horns, and short but strong legs. The weight of bulls can reach up to 1000 kg, while cows weigh 650 kg, with a cup-shaped udder and evenly cylindrical teats. The milk flow rate is 1.6-1.8 kg/min, and the udder index is 42-43%. The height at the withers for cows is 138 cm, for bulls 145 cm, and the chest circumference for cows is 195-200 cm, while for bulls it is 230-235 cm. Housing conditions. The Red-Pied breed has a calm and balanced temperament; it is adapted to stall, pasture, and combined housing, but it is best to keep this breed tied. The Red-Pied breed can be grazed in the summer regardless of the time of day, but it is better not to graze in winter. Balanced nutrition, vitamins, and minerals are necessary for high milk yields; lactation directly depends on housing conditions and diet. The Red-Pied breed can produce quality meat, milk, cheese, and cottage cheese with appropriate care, housing, and feeding. Direction. The dual-purpose direction has an average milk yield of 5000-5500 kg of milk per year, with a milk fat content of 3.8% and a protein content of 3.2%.

Ration. The Red Spotted breed is fed a feed mixture both in winter and summer. The feed mixture consists of green mass of corn, alfalfa, and silage, all of which is mixed together, and barley straw, salt, and soda are also added. Additional trace elements, quality hay, root crops, and silage are also necessary for the daily ration. The quantity and quality of milk yield directly depend on the cows' diet; with appropriate feeding, very high milk yields can be achieved.
