History of the breed. Avileña-Negra Ibérica is a beef breed of cattle that has excellent meat characteristics and is found in Spain. Avileña-Negra Ibérica is black in color, with smooth and uniform fur. Individuals of the Avileña-Negra Ibérica breed are large-bodied with pronounced sexual dimorphism, with cows weighing 500-600 kg and bulls 800-1000 kg.
